Our Focus Areas
Energy & Carbon Management – We use energy-efficient technologies across our operations and supply chains to reduce carbon emissions and lower overall consumption.
Waste Reduction & Recycling – We operate cartridge and device recycling programmes and promote reuse at every stage — keeping products out of landfill.
Refurbished equipment – we refurbish and recycle multifunction devices, reducing waste and enabling us to offer a more cost-effective alternative for our customers
Heat free inkjet technology – we provide solutions that help business reduce energy consumption significantly in comparison to laser technology
Transport & Logistics – Our engineer fleet is transitioning to hybrid vehicles. We optimise routes, monitor usage remotely, and continually cut unnecessary travel.
Sustainable Supply Chain – We partner with manufacturers who share our environmental values, offering products that meet RoHS standards and use recycled materials
What We’re Already Doing
- Offering energy-efficient devices — including printers that use up to 91% less energy than traditional systems. For example, our Riso printers are based on technology that uses a cold printing process & Epson inkjet printers are heat-free
- Using recycled materials in product manufacturing — toner bottles now include up to 61% recycled HDPE.
- Providing take-back and recycling schemes for consumables and devices.
- Ensuring all packaging is reused or recycled via specialist partners.
- Reducing emissions by optimising fleet routes and expanding hybrid vehicle use.
Our Future Goals
Transition our entire engineer fleet to 100% hybrid and electric vehicles.
Eliminate single-use plastics from our operations and supply chain.
Introduce water-saving initiatives across all IBS sites.
